Methodology:

All STI diagnosis data was sourced from Public Health England, Health Protection Scotland, NHS Wales and the Public Health Agency for Northern Ireland, with the exception of Pubic Lice which was sourced from the raTrust. Genital warts data was unavailable for Scotland. All latest available data was used at the time of sourcing (May 2019). Survey results were based on 2,034 respondents across the UK and were gathered on behalf of Zava by Censuswide during April 2019. Survey statistics for frequency of STI check-ups were based on sexually active respondents only.
