Emla cream is a topical local anaesthetic cream, which is used to treat premature ejaculation. It reduces the sensitivity of the penis and can prolong intercourse.
Emla is licensed for the topical anaesthesia of the genital mucosa, but not specifically for PE. However it has been used by many men for this purpose with positive results.
The cream needs to be applied 15 - 20 minutes before intercourse and washed off before sex. To buy Emla online, fill in our confidential assessment questionnaire below.
Please note: Due to exceptionally high demand, Emla is currently out of stock.

Emla is a topical local anaesthetic cream. It can be applied to the skin of the penis, where it can reduce sensitivity, allowing a man to “last” longer.
In effect, Emla numbs the penis slightly, making it less responsive to stimulation in the build-up to ejaculation. It helps suppress neuro-signals from the penis to the brain, reducing the speed at which a man will ejaculate by reducing sensation in the penis.
PE can be caused by psychosexual issues, hormone imbalance and over-sensitivity of the penis. Emla cream will help treat your PE if you have an over-sensitive penis.
You should apply EMLA around 15 to 20 minutes before intercourse. This will ensure the effect has kicked in by the time you have intercourse, but will also ensure the effect does not fade too quickly.
Since Emla reduces the sensitivity of the penis, it may reduce sexual pleasure for you. There are techniques such as start and stop or squeeze methods that you can use to help increase the amount of time you ‘last’ for. However, these take time to work on and may be disruptive to sex. Emla cream is an effective and fast acting treatment for PE. In addition, be aware that Emla can also numb your partner during intercourse. To ensure this does not happen, you must follow the instructions for applying Emla carefully.
No. Emla cream will not do either of these. In fact, Emla is an oil based cream. Such a composition might weaken latex condoms, and therefore it is even more important that suitable precautions are taken to avoid pregnancy or STI transmission. You might want to invest in plastic condoms, which will not be weakened by Emla.
You should start by using a pea-sized amount, and gradually increase the amount if you do not feel this was effective. You can also talk to your doctor about how much you should use and whether this quantity is having the desired effect. You need to apply the cream to the head of the penis (glans) around 15 to 20 minutes before intercourse.
You should wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream, and also remove any excess cream from the penis before intercourse: this will help you avoid numbing your hands and your partner, which could take away from their pleasure.
Emla contains two local anaesthetics: lidocaine and prilocaine.
Since Emla cream is applied directly onto the skin surface of the penis, the most common side effects of the cream will be related to the skin on the penis. These can include redness, swelling, tingling, burning and lightening of the skin.
You must be aware that Emla contains local anaesthetics. Emla cream is also used in surgery to numb patients before some operations, and so, for only a slight loss of sensitivity in the penis as required, the cream must be used sparingly.
It is very important that in the case of such side effects, you wash off the cream immediately and consult your doctor at once.
It is important you clarify with you doctor whether you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Emla cream before attempting to use it.
If you experience any of the following side effects, you may be having an allergic reaction:
You must stop using Emla and seek medical assistance at once if you suffer these symptoms.
For safe and effective use, you must use Emla in the correct manner.
It is important that you doctor knows if you are suffering a condition or taking medication that may affect Emla treatment.
Your doctor should know if you are taking any other anaesthetics.
The effects of these anaesthetics will compound one another and may well make side effects very severe. Alternatively, tell DrEd online, and medical experts will judge whether this treatment is suitable for you.
If you are taking another form of medication which also lists 'methemoglobinemia' as a risk or side effect, then inform your doctor.
Taking both medications in conjunction can increase the risk.
If you have ever had problems with an irregular heart-beat or are taking medication for this (such as amiodarone), then consult your doctor.
Using Emla in conjunction with such medication may worsen the side effects experienced by the heart, especially if Emla is not used sparingly.

This is the first time I have used this service. Website was easy to navigate and online questions very clear. prompt response and delivery of malaria tablets.
I cannot believe how easy it was to order, pay and then receive the goods. They kept me informed throughout. I wish all companies were this easy to deal with
I have been prescribed the same medication for over 4 years, yet I still have the hassle of taking valued time off work to visit my GP/local pharmacy for repeat prescriptions. This tedious exercise costs me a half day's annual leave for little more than a blood pressure reading and ironically, I own my own electronic blood pressure meter! DrEd.com - inexpensive, well packaged and prompt delivery.
Placed order one day delivered the next in discrete packaging, treatment worked as directed. Would use again and reccomed
