Ramipril is used to treat high blood pressure. It belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. If you have been taking Ramipril for more than three months, you can obtain your prescription and tablets from DrEd without having to see your GP.
To order Ramipril online, place your order and answer the questions on our questionnaire. Our doctor will review your information and issue a prescription, provided Ramipril is suitable for you.
Prices include prescription and delivery.
Ramipril is a high blood pressure treatment, thereby reducing the risk of stroke and heart attack in patients as well. In addition, it can help improve survival rates of heart failure/heart surgery patients.
Ramipril is one of the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It decreases the concentration of chemicals which cause the blood vessels to tighten. This allows the blood to flow more smoothly through the body so the heart can pump blood efficiently: this helps to reduce blood pressure.
Nothing in your diet should interact with Ramipril and alter how it works. However, high blood pressure is often caused by a diet high in salts, fats and cholesterol: your doctor may advise you to improve your diet so that you can get the best out of your treatment.
Yes, but only in moderation. Drinking whilst taking Ramipril can exacerbate any feelings of light headedness and dizziness. Also, alcohol and Ramipril can have additive effects; this is equivalent to taking more Ramipril than required.
1mg and 10mg tablets are white, 2.5mg tablets are yellowish and 5mg tablets are a pale red. The tablets are marked with the dosage.
Some painkillers and indigestion remedies can affect the way in which Ramipril works. Therefore, you should talk to DrEd or to your GP before taking any painkillers.
Many patients find that the first dose of Ramipril can make them feel dizzy. This means it is a good idea to take your treatment in the evening, at least to start off with.
Altace, Tritace or Triapin (ramipril with felodipine)
Obviously you have to have been prescribed Ramipril to take it. It is advised that anyone under 18 should not take Ramipril: the safety of this treatment has not been assessed in this age range. Ramipril has been tested in the over 65s age range. It is equally as effective at this age, but patients may experience increased sensitivity to the treatment.
You should take your Ramipril tablet at the same time each day for maximum effectiveness. It does not matter whether you take Ramipril with food or not, but make sure you swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
1.25, 2.5, 5 and 10mg tablets are available. You will usually be advised to start off by taking one 1.25 or 2.5mg tablet per day. Your doctor may consequently alter your dosage depending on how the treatment is working.
If you miss a dosage, just skip the missed dose and continue your treatment plan as normal.
If you overdose you should seek medical assistance immediately: do not drive to a hospital yourself.
You should take no more than 10mg a day.
The active ingredient in Ramipril is ramipril. The other ingredients are hypromellose, pregelatinised maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium stearyl fumarate. The 2.5mg tablets also contain yellow ferric oxide (E172). The 5mg tablets also contain red ferric oxide (E172).
In very rare cases, patients may become more sensitive to the sun.
You should not take Ramipril during the first three months of pregnancy. You must not take it during the last 6 months of pregnancy.
You may feel dizzy while you take Ramipril. Therefore, it is not advisable to drive or operate machinery.
This is the first time I have used this service. Website was easy to navigate and online questions very clear. prompt response and delivery of malaria tablets.
I cannot believe how easy it was to order, pay and then receive the goods. They kept me informed throughout. I wish all companies were this easy to deal with
I have been prescribed the same medication for over 4 years, yet I still have the hassle of taking valued time off work to visit my GP/local pharmacy for repeat prescriptions. This tedious exercise costs me a half day's annual leave for little more than a blood pressure reading and ironically, I own my own electronic blood pressure meter! DrEd.com - inexpensive, well packaged and prompt delivery.
Placed order one day delivered the next in discrete packaging, treatment worked as directed. Would use again and reccomed
